And the winner of the 2013 MCTBA is…

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green! Honor books for 2013 are Ashes by Ilsa Bick (teen vote winner!), Everybody Sees the Ants by A.S. King and Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers!

As usual, a big thank you goes out to the 120 teen that voted, the librarians who helped us promote the award and the awesome YA authors who keep making the winner more challenging to decide! We’ll see you in December 2013 with the 15 nominees for 2014!
